A nation-wide Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) has been planned to be launched on 28 July, 2014 in all the States/UTs and would be observed in two phases :

As per the directions of Dr. Rakesh Kumar, JS(RCH), MoHFW, GoI, the Draft IDCF Guidelines and Toolkit for the Fortnight are being sent in attachment.
You are requested to initiate the preparatory activities as per the attached timelines. A mail has already been sent on 14-07-2014 requesting for stock updates of ORS and Zinc in your districts and State stores. Kindly send the stock updates as early as possible, preferably within 17-07-2014.
You are also requested to nominate one Nodal officer for each district who will be leading the IDCF activities.
